Photo by MJSThe Sangamon Elementary School houses Mahomet-Seymour School District students in grades one and two (plus one pre-first class). The '95-96 enrollment is approximately 450 students. The students enjoy the bright classrooms in this modern structure and the staff works within a "child-centered" atmosphere where each child is free to explore, learn, and progress at the pace that is developmentally appropriate for that particular child.
