History of Hindi:Hindi is an Indo-Aryan language, spoken mostly in South Asia. Itis the Official Language of the Republic of India. Hindi is the world'sthird most widely spoken language.
Present status of Hindi:According to the Constitution of India, Hindi, written in Devanagariscript, is the Official Language of India.
The Devanagari script:The Devanari script used for Hindi (and some other Indo-Aryan languages)is ranked as the world's most scientific as well as most phonetic script.
Hindi alphabet:A note on Hindi alphabet, its organization, pronunciation, and someuseful tips on pronouncing Hindi sounds.
