- After learning more about life in Chicago and students from there this year, what are the good and bad points about life there in your opinion?
- What do you now think about the people who live there?
- Which place is a better place to live, do you think now: Fisher or Chicago? Why?

I think the good points are that you can make more friends in Chicago. There are a lot of places to shop or eat. The bad points are it's crowded. there's a lot [sic] of traffic.
I think the people are normal. Some are mean some are nice.
I think Fisher is a better place to live. Because the traffic is normal. It's not crowded. Almost everybody is nice. There are good places to shop and eat. And if you don't like what we have at Fisher stores, Fisher's really close to Mahomat [sic], Champaign, or Rantoul.

In Chicago I think some of the bad points of Chicago area All the gangs that hang around your house and the noise. Some of the good points are you have a lot of neighbors.
Most of the people I talked to were very nice.
Fisher because It's no [sic] so hard to drive.

The good points about Chicago is that there is a lot of places yow [sic] can live and lots of people for lots of friends. The bad points are it is too crowded and busy streets. I know now that there are a lot of different ethnic and religious groups.
Fisher: It's more quiet and not as busy. Most the kids in Fisher go to the same school so yow [sic] know more people.

If you lived in Chicago you could go get any kind of food from anywhere in the world, but you could also [get] jumped or shut-to-death [sic] by a gang.
Most are O.K. but some are snobs.
I think it would have to be Fisher.

I rather live in Fisher. I like the tall sky-skrapers [sic] and zoo but living in chicago has got to be stressful. I probaly [sic] would go insane living there but visiting is pretty cool.
I think Fisher is better. Less pollution. Less trafic [sic] and noise. Very little crime. Only one school. But then again I never lived in a big city.

In My Opinion some of the good points are, all the stores and sports complexes. Some of the bad points, There are a lot of homeless people, and there are a lot more robberys [sic].
I think some of the people are nice some aren't.
I would rather live in fisher because its [sic] a small town, not as much robbery, and its [sic] more fun to me.

After seeing the life in Chicago I think I would rather live in a small town with not as many people and lights.

The good points about Chicago are that it's a pretty free city. What I mean by free, is you can do more stuff. The bad points about Chicago are that there's a lot of crimes.
I think some of the people there are nice, and the others, not so nice.

The good points about living in Chicago are there are a lot of things to do. There are also a lot of things to do. The bad points are there is more crime. And there is not as much privacy.
I think the people who live in Chicago are good and bad.
I think the better place to live is Fisher. Fisher is smaller and you have bigger yards, and it's not as crowded.

I think that the people in Chicago are the same. And I think the people in Chicago [i.e. Notre Dame] were stuck up. I also think that Fisher is a better place to live because I don't like big towns. Maybe for a trip or vacation but not to live there all the time.

Some good points about Chicago are lots of places to go. You can make a living really good because there are lots of different businesses. The bad points are gangs and lots of bad things can happen in Chicago because it is a big city.
All I know about the people that live there are there are lots of different religons [sic] and lots of different backgrounds like there [sic] color or whatever.
Fisher still because I have lived here all my life and it would be hard to move from a little town to a big city.

What I liked about Chicago was that there was a lot to do a [sic] you could never get Bored. What I did not like was all the pollution and all the smoke from the cars.
I have no probrolem [sic] with them. I think have [sic] of the homeless people are just trying to find a place to sleep. But I have no problem with them.
I think I would rather stay in Fisher where it is nice and quiet.
