Children at this stage are thinking on a new level, and it will be recommended to encourage and stimulate their thinking by asking questions about forms that they draw. These questions should relate specifically to the subject matter as they identified it, and encourage them to think more deeply about their subject. It is important to AVOID directing them to draw specific objects or use specific color to those objects, but to lead them with our questions to THINK about new things that they might include in their drawings (Hurwitz & Day 1991).
From that point, I found it's appropriate to analyze and study some specific cases from children's sketchbook within the kindergarten class at Saturday School at the School of Art and Design (UIUC).
