Teaching and
Learning with Technology
Starting this summer, the Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT Key Series) will enter its' pilot phase. the TLT Key Series is being sponsored by Regional Office of Education - 11. The Key Series was developed by fellow CTER student, Terry Sullivan. Recently a series of conversations occurred between the Regional Office of Education, Eastern Illinois University and Lake Land College. These conversations centered around the Key Series, and how the 3 institutions could enter into a collaborative partnership. While many of the logistics are still being worked out, the Key Series is set to be piloted at Cowden-Herrick School District this summer.
The Key Series builds around modularized instruction within a co-hort group. For the pilot, we are concentrating on collimating the modules into a collaborative project, using Project Based Learning strategies.
For the purpose of this assignment ( and the work I expect to complete on the project) I am gathering collaborative project references to provide the participating teachers with. I am also gathering resources about using FrontPage 2000. I will be instructing the teachers in using FrontPage and designing web resources for their students.
