CHALLENGE OF TAXONOMY

    As I thought about this assignment, I had a real difficult time coming up with a "use of technology" that didn't some how fit into one of the four categories (inquiry, communication, construction, and expression).  It was a liitle bit easier, however, to think of a "use of technology" which fit into multiple categories.  The first "use of technology" that came to mind, was Netscape Communicator.  This program definitely fits into the inquiry category;  the amount of information on the web is endless.  Netscape Communicator can also be used for communcation, for example chat rooms, webboards, etc.  As far as construction and expression are concerned, I believe that Netscape Communicator could be included in these categories as well.  Through Netscape Communicator, websites can be contructed, and through this construction, an individual can express their own creativity.
