Distance education via the Internet "Online Education" is a rapidly expanding new genre in education. Some even refer to the new phenomenon as a new educational paradigm. Regardless of the name we refer to it as, It is certain that programs by the hundreds are being added to the pool of Online Education resources each year. Understanding the uniqueness of online instruction from a teaching and learning perspective is essential as we move toward education at a distance through world wide networks.
