If you are reading this page, welcome. You are one of many who knows how to search the web. I don't need to tell you that there seems to be endless sites that are related to whatever subject you are interested in.

My interests lies in developing a unit for my classroom that brings together teaching students A.R.T. (Aggression Replacement Training) in combination with teaching basic computer skills.

Below is a list and brief description of some related sites and software that in my opinion might be useful in teaching my unit.

Conflict Resolution/Peer Mediation, (CR/PM) Research Project, University of Florida

This site is for a four year research project conducted through the University of Florida. It provides other helpful links on conflict resolution. It also provides a valuable opportunity to discuss the pros and cons of a program of this nature with teachers who are presently using it.

Teacher Talk - Peer Mediation in Two Schools

Sort of a teacher magazine format. It has a variety of helpful articles. Topics such as how to intervene in fights, creating a peaceful classroom, and gang violence in our schools are covered.
