HELPING FOREIGN STUDENTS COMING TO USA
The purpose of this project is to provide customized guidance through preliminary information, appropriate for prospective international students planning to pursue their studies in the United States. This project is a web design for world wide level and aims to focusing specifically in international academic regiment.
Coming for studying in the United States is a great experience for foreigners.
The biggest challenge starts with getting useful information. I am concerning
about the quality of available information, what could be insufficient
or sometime in excess. The dilemma about information now is that too much
of them can also be confusing and misleading. In order to be efficient,
prospective international students need much relevant information, organized
in a certain logic, helpful for students to getting into the US academic
environment. Information model should be flexible enough to express high
degree of relevance, in various socio-cultural contexts. For prospective
students to take international decisions and readjusting self toward a
totally different environment, a systematic organization of information
in consistence with the US academic spectrum is indeed an essential assistance.
And there is a need for web page which aim is to supporting the prospective
international students to accomplish their goals in a more efficient method.
The purpose of this wepage is to create a valuable center of information
and links whereby any prospective international student aiming to study
in the United States can (1) Get relevant information for him / her (2)
Provide links with important database services offering more variety of
deep information and consulting (3) Provide basic advises and guides for
efficient use of information.
Unlike 7 years ago when I was trying to migrate to US, nowadays overwhelming
majority of people are benefited with the Internet and World wide browser,
as first source of information. Though some time least reliable, much information
could now be found on the Web. However some time web itself can become
troublesome for two reasons (1) the lack of coherent information along
with the level responsiveness from its providers (2) Too much information
could induce a searcher inefficiently.
(1) GATHERING INFORMATION: I will select information, based on the US legislative system, on immigration services, The US international Institute of Education, International Funding institutions, The United Nations Academic Funding Services, and Top ten US Universities and International Testing Centers.
(2) CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: In order to maintain continuos improvement of this world-wide page, in respect of the cultural differences and international realities and specific individual limitations, there will be a link for survey and email for people and organizations to express suggestions freely.
