To Jenny Kiascko’s project about a class syllabus.

Jenny, I think that this is a great idea to organize your plans, assignments and all for your classes. The practice tests and answers will be beneficial in the math field. Have you surveyed your classes as to how many students have internet access? Is this something that can be done during a free period at school for those that do not have accessibility. Also, for Web Site space, Sue Cooper suggested
http://www.teacherweb.com/ This might be an idea, or can you get space on the Springfield Server? You can also have links to your grading requirements, homework policies, etc. so no one can say that they didn't know. The possibilities are endless.

To Tammy Barcalow’s project on Quilts, June 8, 2001

Tammy,(Notice the time of our postings!) Do we not sleep?
I love the idea. This type of project will be important to your local community. There is also a lot of genealogy links that can be applied in this situation. Students will become interested in many family artifacts. I can foresee projects and presentations where they can bring family heirlooms into the classroom. The possibilities for your project can be for adults as well. I will be looking forward to seeing this.

To Marilyn Hudson-Tremayne – Just a note to pass on

Marilyn, Just thought I would pass along my Unit of Practice on Volcanoes. Of course, there are a lot of links provided at the end.
