Grade level - 3-6Description - This word processing program allows students to do a variety of writing activities.
Use in the classroom - I will have students write paragraphs in response to the literature circle books they read. Students will be writing about stories they have read telling how water has changed the lives of the characters. They will write short paragraphs to record on their Slide Shows. They will also be using this program to do a variety of unrelated activities.

Yahooligans!: I have enjoyed aspects of this Web site. It is useful in helping students access information needed for reports or other activities. It is easy to use and "get around" on. But, I still suggest that the instructor does the initial scoping and scanning of any Web site that students are to view. To see a good site for children to use: Yahooligans!
