• I began working for the Illinois State Board of Education in the Assesment Division on June 1st, 1999. This position was discovered via the Internet, and part of my duties include keeping the Assessment web page updated.

• During the 1998-1999 school year, I taught high school mathematics at Rochester High School.

• I taught seventh grade mathematics at FranklinMiddle School from 1994 until 1998.

• I'm very active in two symphony orchestras as a violist, and I also play in two different string quartets.
