There are two parts to this homework assignment:

(1) Rewrite any two of the three paragraphs
in Exercise
#2 using appropriate conjunctions.

(2) Then, write one paragraph containing seven or
more sentences on the following topic:

How might life change if there were no automobiles in
the world?
Think carefully about your topic
sentence and supporting
sentences. You may look again at the Cause and Effect lecture
and exercises
for help if needed. Use appropriate conjunctions.
Write the paragraphs either in an e-mail program or on
a word-processor. When you are finished, e-mail them to me at fwalters@uiuc.edu
by Saturday night.
