Exercise #2(b): Coherence and Unity


Write a short paragraph on a topic of your choice, using at least six of the eight transitions (connectors) in the box below. Be sure to write a topic sentence that helps the reader anticipate the organization of your paragraph, and try to maintain paragraph unity. You do not have to write a concluding sentence if you do not want to.
