- Educational Uses - CU-See Me can be used in a
distance learning classroom, or could be used in collaboration
with a sister classroom.
- Made by Whitepine Software
Co., CU-See Me can be purchased in several ways, on-line
either by downloading or by having a copy mailed, or by faxing a
request and then downloading.
- CU-See
Me is a videoconferencing software that can be used
on the Internet or any TCP/IP network. It allows the user to see,
hear, and share through videoconferencing.
- Cost: For MacIntosh there is a buy one get one
free special going on now. For a shipped packaged version the cost
is $89.00 for a single copy for either MacIntosh or Windows. The
packaged version includes a new serial number, a CD-ROM, and a
User Guide. To buy on-line and download a copy the cost is
$69.00.
- System Requirements: Windows -
Computer Requirement - Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0,
Pentium Processor, minimum 100 MHz, 16 MB of RAM (24 MB or more is
recommended), and 10MB of hard disk space. Network
Connections - TCP/IP, minimum 28.8 Kbps modem, LAN, cable, or
ISDN connection, or PPP for dial-up connection. To Send
Video - Digital camera or desktop video camera and capture
video card. To Send Audio - Microphone, minimum 16-bit
sound card and drivers. To Receive Audio - Speakers or
headphones, minimum 16 bit sound card and drivers.
MacIntosh - Computer Requirement - Mac OS
System 7.6 or later, Power PC processor (minimum 100 MHz), 24 MB
of RAM (32 MB or more recommended), 10 MB of hard disk space.
Network Connections - Open Transport Version 1.1.2 or
later, IP Address, minimum 28.8 Kbps modem, LAN, cable, or ISDN
connection, PPP for dial-up networking. To Send Video -
Digital camera or desktop video camera and video capture card.
To Send Audio - Microphone. To Receive Audio - Built
in speaker, or optional external speakers or headphones.

- Educational Uses - HyperStudio can be used for
students to make Multimedia presentations in a variety of manners.
With the addition of a browser "plug-in" HyperStudio projects
could be displayed on the web.

purchased from an authorized dealer, by calling (800) 421-6526, or
by sending an email to <care@hyperstudio.com>.
- HyperStudio
is a software program for developing Multimedia presentations
using a nonlinear approach. The program allows the user to include
things such as pictures, animations and sounds in their
presentation.
- Cost: Single Copy - $199.95, 5-Pack - $450.00,
10-Pack - $795.00.
- System Requirements: MacIntosh -
System 7.1 or higher, 68030 processor or higher, minimum 4MB of
free RAM, and a CD-ROM drive. Windows - 4MB RAM (8MB
recommended), 386DX or higher, 256 color minimum S-VGA, Windows
3.1 or higher, Microsoft compatible mouse, Sound Blaster or
compatible card required for sound features.

to explore body system in 3D, look at complex molecules, or to
study DNA. It would also be a valuable design tool.

allows the user to publish three-dimensional models on diskette or
on the Internet, as well as viewing other three-dimensional models
on the Internet.

Companion is a database program which makes it possible to
write to and from databases via specially coded web pages.
