Netscape Plugin- RubberWeb http://www.valisgroup.com/order.html

  • Rubblerflex makes the Netscape plugin RubberWeb but is currently being marketed by The Valis Group under the title MetaFlo.
  • RubberWeb(MetaFlo) can be obtained through the website above or by calling 1-800 VALIS 04
  • RubberWeb is a image warping and special affects program that changes web images into 2D and 3D animation. RubberWeb creates web animations in two forms GIF or AnimaFlex.
  • RubberWeb is available for Macs only but can be viewed through a browser on Windows. RubberWeb without layering effects is $149.00 and with layering effects $449.00
  • The Mac system requires 8 MB of RAM, Mac 2 or above, and an operating system of 7.0 or higher.
  • RubberWeb can be used in an educational setting for creating unique web page animation. Students at any age level would enjoy the images produced by this program. The thought of taking a picture of the school and "rubberizing" it to make it look cool would be exciting to some students. And imagine the possibilities of using this product for anger replacement therapy and behavior modification. This program would allow students to take a person's picture and rubberize it. This could save the district money from sending students to alternative placement schools for behavior replacement skills. I know the last use is somewhat far fetched, but until you try RubberWeb how do you know?
  • Another informational site is-http://www.rubberflex.com
  • My school does have the system requirements to run this program but the cost of the program is too high given our needs at this time.
