Materials needed: PowerPoint page 5 template, Computer, student information sheet

Time span: 2-30 minute periods

Procedure:

• Students will type in the appropriate information needed for each box in the organizational chart on this template page. (The boxes include: Title, Author, Illustrator, Setting, Characters, Problem and Solution)
• Students will type their name in the title box supplied.
• Students will save this page.

Follow-up Activity: The students will create an illustration using KidPix showing their favorite part of the story.
