Instructional Topic: Student Centered Electronic Portfolio

Specific Audience: 1st grade students (17)

Hardware Components: scanner, digital camera, and PowerMac w/ external zip drive.

Software Component: PowerPoint by Microsoft

Time Frames: All time frames are estimates and will change according to the flow of the lesson and the cooperation of the students.

Pre-Unit Preparation: Create templates for each page using PowerPoint. After the creation of the templates create an example fully complete using all required elements to show the students. A brief tutorial of the PowerPoint options and keys that they will be using will be given. I will explain the use of the other components as we use them. The lessons below may not necessarily be completed on consecutive days due to the amount of material I need to cover in First Grade.
