New Software Resources:

The following are software programs or web-based resources that I think might be beneficial in the area of Language Arts and Technology.

Software/CD-ROMs

Software

KidPix Studio <http://www.broderbund.com/>, Broderbund Software, Inc. The children are able to create pictures and stories the first time they try this program. Their enthusiasm and creativity really come out as they add animation to their work and make their project come to life!

CD-ROM

Living Books <http://www.edresources.com>, a Random House/Broderbund company, Green Eggs and Ham by: Dr. Seuss. The children read a long with this popular story using animation. They interact with the story using the computer as their guide.

CD-ROM

Reader Rabbit <http://www.learningco.com> The Learning Company. The Reader Rabbit Reading Journey makes reading an exciting experience enabling the reader to follow along and interact with the characters for an enjoyable time. This program reaches all of the students regardless of their reading level.
