Reaction to Taxonomy

While I understand the idea behind the taxonomy, there are some ways that I use technology in music teaching that do not fit one area.
One area is with a music notation software program. I use Encore, by Passport Designs
see:
and
I use this one product many different ways: from a way to visualize, to use as a sound source, to help analyze music, for shared composition with my students, to create non-sound worksheets etc.
I can also take music examples and paste them into a word processing file.

In review, if I understand the taxonomy correctly, I use encore for theory building, data access (playing other MIDI files), data analysis, document preparation, communication, collaborative media, teaching media, and of course, music making and accompaniment, and music composing and editing. Also since the screen changes as the music is played, it is also animation and multimedia.
