Job Setting:
In August, I will begin my sixth year as a computer teacher. The past two years, I have been teaching grades 1 through 4 technology in Wilmette Public School District #39. This fall will bring new challenges to my job, as Harper Elementary will pilot the first wireless laptop lab in our district.
In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I have been active in technology staff development for teachers in my district. Training has varied from development of curriculum-based technology projects to web page development. I am web coordinator for Harper Elementary and I also am responsible for the district's teacher resource pages.
