searching the above site.
- Read Critical
Issue: Providing Professional Development for Effective Technology
Use ,and write a response summary, no
more than 2 word processed pages.
- Comment on 2 other participantís responses. (Complete
by Sunday)
- Write a brief abstract of your major project. Include what
final product would be (ie. Slide show, webpage, etc.), area of
curriculum you intend to focus on, and software/hardware you
intend to use. (Complete by Sunday)

- Begin to experiment with software to be used in final project.
Write a short summary of your experience. Include title of
software, ease of use, and difficulties you came across. (Complete
by Friday)
- Required Group Chat: Participants will have a chance to
discuss any problems that occurred when experimenting with
software. (Sunday Evening)
Week 4-Troubleshooting Reading
Week 5-Major Project Outline
- Begin creating example of final student product. (ie. Slide
show, webpage, etc.) (Complete by Friday)
- Post example for comments and suggestions. (Complete by
Friday)
- Comment on at least 2 other projects. (Complete by
Sunday)
Wek 6-Assessment Reading
- Choose one of the following articles on assessment. Read the
article and be prepared to discuss your article in the Group Chat.

Week 8-Major Project Directions
- Make final draft of Major Project. Include project example,
assessment tool and student materials. (Complete by Friday)
- Comment on at least 2 other projects. (Complete by
Sunday).
- Notify mentor/facilitator of all hardware/software or other
materials needed for face to face presentation. (Complete by
Sunday)
Week 9-Face to Face Presentations
- Be prepared to present final project. Must include enough
handouts for all in attendance.
