In evaluating my Geometry
Lesson I believe the evaluation process is fairly clear cut and straight
forward. In evaluating my own project I will need to consider:
-
Project materials: web
sites, accessibility, credibility. This is an important issue, but
because of limited control over these issues I think that the important
question to ask is, "Have I utilized the available resources to the fullest?".
-
Student assessment: managing
student off task behaviors, rubric for measuring performance
-
Instructional program:
How effective is the lesson at maximizing student performance?
-
My own learning: What
aspects of the lesson need to be redesigned/improved? Are there additional
technologies that could be utilized? How can I expand on this lesson (unit/course
ideas)?
The
California Instructional Technology Clearinghouse is the web site I
submitted to the Open Directory. It is an educator's guide to evaluating
instructional technology marketed to California Schools. Trained
professionals identify the highest quality electronic learning resources.
