Project Goals

The goals of this project are to design interesting mathematics lessons for high school students. These lessons will be designed specifically for 'real world' classrooms--unmotivated and uninterested students and teachers with limited Internet Training and resources (for example, 1 computer classrooms). The math lessons will be interactiveindividual and group explorations and activities with an emphasis on real life applications. I also aim to present lessons that teachers can present and utilize in their classrooms easily.

Target Areas

I plan to focus on the following disciplines/topics with an emphasis on aligning activities with theTexas curriculum guidelines and assessments by directly correlating them with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS),

Project Evaluation

This project will be evaluated by the quality of student products, student feedback surveys, and formal and informal teacher surveys.
