Welcome to my ePortfolio! I am a graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas with a B.S. in Psychology and am currently pursuing a Masters of Education in Curriculum, Technology and Education Reform at the University of Illinois.  I am a 4th year teacher at Jeff Davis High School  in the Houston Independent School District.  My current teaching assignment is Mathematics-Geometry.  I have also taught Algebra 1.  As the sponsor of our School's Chapter of the Texas Association of Future Educators, I encourage students to pursue careers in Education.  I am also a school facilitator for Consistency Management Cooperative Discipline which is the discipline management program utilized in our school's feeder pattern.  I enjoy trying various strategies to get my students actively involved in their learning.
