page gives you some insight on who I am and what I like to do... |
- I
graduated from North Central
College in Naperville with a degree in Social Science and
Education. I also ran cross country and track at NCC where we
won 4 National Titles during my four years. Go Cardinals!!!
- This
is my fourth year of teaching for Pekin Public School District
#108. I teach seventh and eighth grade social studies for Edison
Junior High in Pekin, Illinois.
- I
am the current webmaster for Edison Junior High. Check out our
school webpage by clicking the Edison Webpage button on the left
side of this page.
- I
am also the head 8th grade basketball coach at Edison as well
as the assistant track coach. This past year my 8th grade team
made it to the "Elite 8" at state and we had 9 athletes
in track qualify for the state finals.
- In
my spare time I enjoy "The Great Outdoors," hunting, fishing,
and playing sports. I am rarely ever caught inside watching T.V.
I just started white water kayaking and mountain climbing this
past summer and look foward to doing more of both sports upon
completion of this degree.
- Finally,
I am getting married to a wonderful girl, Jennifer Olomon, this
summer. We waited to get married until August 3rd so I could complete
my degree on time. I love her tremendously and look foward to
spending the rest of my life with her.
