We are currently researching various interface designs for the travel companion. Our initial database layout may have been too traditional, following standard web based formats. We now are working on a model that assumes that the system has previous experience with the user and ``knows" them, and their preferences., just as a travel agent would know the tastes and budget of a long time client. Thus, as Jim points out, requests for new trips can be seen as help requests enabling us to draw on Jim's earlier research.
