I am working at Kanagawa University in Japan. You can look the University's picture from here. I think you don't know the name Kanagawa, but you probably know the name Yokohama. Yokohama is the capital of Kanagawa prefecture (in Japanese). It takes one hour to come to the university from Tokyo (in Japanese) station.
I came University of Illinois this August as a visiting scholar. This page could show you what I am and what I am doing in Japan. Though the pages were written in almost Japanese, you could find out many cute students and their graphics works written in programming language C.
In 1995-96, I was vice coordinator of Planning of Regional Information Systems of Yokosuka City, which is also a city of Kanagawa prefecture. The report (in Japanese) of the project shows the plan of Inoformatization in 2010.
In 1994 I have been involved with Japan Universities Association for Computer Education (JUCE) (in Japanese), where I have been working to make the guideline of computer use in junior college education.
