Project name:
How is going on the use of information technology in Japanese Junior
College - as a guideline curriculum
Project goal:
This goal is to introduce how is going on the use of informational
technology in Japanese higher educational Institutes. According to the
announcement of the Ministry of Japan, many trials of education using computers
are going on now. There exists some standard curriculum in elementary school,
junior high-school, and the high-school. Though there is no curriculum
of higher education, many universities are in trail of using computer in
education. I worked as a member of Japan
Universities Association for Computer Education(JUCE)(in Japanese),
where I have been working to make the guideline of computer use in junior
college education. In there we focused that the importance of using computer
is in special studies which students are taking. We are also making syllabus,
time schedule, educational databases, and educational materials, which
could be help of instructors.
