The K-12 CD is available to all teachers in the Springfield School District. This CD contains all software and utilities that the district is currently site licensed to use. This CD is updated yearly as new technology and resources become available to the school district. Any information contained on this CD can be downloaded onto any computer in the district. It is available for all to use!!!

 

Claris for Kids - This is a program that is similar to ClarisWorks 4.04, however, it has been created to be more kid friendly.

 

ClarisWorks 4.04 - This is a program that contains the capability to do word processing, and create spread sheets, as well as, databases. There is also a painting and drawing option available with this program.

 

Demos - This section allows teachers to preview various software before using them with their classroom or before purchasing. Some examples of the software available for preview are: Alphabet Express Demo, HangMan, Inspirations Demo, and HyperStudio Preview.

 

Email Database - This is the access to the district's database which contains all of the E-Mail addresses of school district employees.

 

Eudora - This folder contains the software needed to install and run Eudora.

 

Fonts for System Folder - This folder contains a list of all available fonts.

Graphics - This folder contains various graphics including district Clip Art and Clip Art of all school logos.

 

How-to- Handouts - This folder is an excellent reference to use when needing to know how to install software or store information on a data disk. this folder allows to teacher to print step by step directions to various activities for personal use or for use with students. This folder contains directions for the following activities:
