I currently use version 3.0 of Macromedia Dreamweaver. While searching for cost of the product I located costs for version 4.0. This newer version costs $279.99 at Amazon.com. On Computershopper.com the software sells for $339.99-$377.00 depending on what platform you are using.
I think this is a relatively high price to pay for editing software. Unless you are doing very elaborate webpages, I don't think it's necessary to pay this much for editing software. There are plenty of other programs out there that are much cheaper, and just as effective to use.
