There are so many toolbars in this program! I think the amount of toolbars added to some of my confusion with this program. I found that you have to move the toolbars around a lot due to the fact that they pop up at rather odd points across the page.
There are 3 main toolbars in Dreamweaver. They can be found under the Window pull down menu.
OBJECTS:
This toolbar is used to insert different items into your page. The items range
from inserting images, tables, layers, rollover images, tabular data, horizontal
line, date, e-mail link, etc.

see a surprise!!!

PROPERTIES:
This toolbar is used to add links to
your page and to change the style of text and overall look of the page.
LAUNCHER:
The launcher toolbar allows you to open
different palletes.
