Here's a response from Springfield, Illinois!!!

Hello from Springfield, Il, the capital of Illinois and the location of the
only home Abraham Lincoln ever owned. Springfield is the home of many
historic Lincoln site such as the tomb where he and his sons are buried. To
the north east is New Salem village where Lincoln live for a while after he
came to Illinois. The Lincoln Herndon Office where he practice law is
located in downtown Springfield, as well as the church were he worshipped.
The train station from which he left after being elected president and to
which his body was returned is also in downtown Springfield.

Springfield is a nice town to live in. There are great parks and
neighborhoods in which to walk. We are home to two junior colleges and one
four year college. Sports are important in Springfield, especially baseball
and soccer. The Illinois State Fair takes place in mid-August, we are stop
on the LPGA tour in September, and we have a large air show each year.

Springfield also has many restaurants, a lot of which serve the local
favorite the horseshoe sandwich. It is an open face sandwich topped with a
choice of meet such as hamburger, ham, turkey, then covered with French
fries and topped with a delicious cheese sauce. If you are ever in
Springfield, you've got to try one.
