For my project, I am interested
in looking at how computers are used in intructional design. I've
been looking around on the internet to see what people are talking about,
and have found software, networking, templates, concepts in instructional
design, etc. I'm a little unsure of how you want us to format this
project. Most of the ones that I've seen in previous classes seem
to be web pages that are webweavers, or are like research papers on the
web. So, I'm still not real clear on how I am going to actually "do"
this project.
The particular learner that I have
in mind is a college-level, probably graduate level but not necessarily
so, who is interested in instructional design. Fortunately, for me
I'm in an instructional design class right now, so I have access to this
type of learner. What I would like for them to come away with is
a resource that gives them some kind of idea how technology is used in
the area, whether it be software like PhotoShop, Quarxpress, etc. and how
the internet can be used as a helpful medium as a mode of networking, researching
new concepts, and as a teaching tool (many designers design web-based instruction
also). Therefore, in regards to the first paragraph, my project may
be a combination of both a research paper and a web weaving web page (say
that 5 times fast:).
