Indian Research Projects
Notecards:
Each notecard will receive 1 point for each
of the following requirements for a total of 5 points per card.
1. Student's name and name
of tribe on the back of the card.
2. Name of source in the upper right
hand corner of the card.
3. Question or topic on the first
line.
4. Accurate information in the body
of the card.
5. Page number of source or N/A in
the lower right hand corner of the card.
Murals:
Each student's grade will be based on the following
criteria:
1. Mural contains name of
the region. (5 pts.)
2. Name of student's tribe is on the
mural. (5 pts.)
3. Student's name is placed by his/her
artwork. (5 pts.)
4. Student's art accurately represents
the information found. (30 pts.)
5. Student made good use of space
on the mural. (15 pts.)
6. Student worked well together with
the group. (10 pts.)
7. Student did a fair share of the
work. (15 pts.)
8. Student put time and effort into
the drawings as demonstrated by detail and neatness. (15 pts.)
