    2. What set of learners am I going to examine in addressing this lesson?

To your surprise, I would like to address my lesson to the EdPsy 387 class as my "experimenting audience" so that I can receive feedback and constructive criticism from you, my classmates!

    THE PROJECT IN DETAIL:

      A. Content area:  Gastronomy

      B. Topic:  Cooking a Spinach Pie

      C. Learning Objective:  In a short lesson (15-20 minutes), the students will be able to prepare and cook a spinach pie. They will also learn the basic procedure for the cooking of any pie.

      D. Lesson Structure:  It will consist mainly of a demo, with the support of visuals and text.

      Introduction:

      -    Importance of preparing healthy and nutritious food.
      -    Content is as important as the presentation (food decoration).
      -    List of ingredients (visual)

            Body:

Explain and demonstrate how to make a spinach pie, following a set of instructions:

      - Pre-heat oven at 400 degrees.
      - Cover a baking pan with the crust and pierce it all over. Bake the crust alone for 5     minutes; this is the key for the crust to remain crisp in any pie!
      - In a bowl, put the chopped spinach and add four beaten eggs. Season with salt, pepper and grated cheese.
      - Remove the crust from the oven and fill it with the preparation. Bake for 15 minutes.
      - Decorate on top with slices of cheese and bake for other 3 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

Closure:             Short quiz on the steps to follow when preparing a
                                      pie.
