Most of the sites I looked at asked you to agree to their terms and in
some cases,
they wanted their work attributed to the site or to them personally. I was surprised to
find such a vast array of clip art, animated art, photographs, and copies of actual
paintings that were free to
the public for copying.

I enjoyed looking through this site, and found much needed backgrounds,
moving graphics, and assorted items that I wanted. Now, I need time to actually
download them all. http://www.coolgraphics.com/
Some of the artists share their work. I would find this useful for an art
class, and
for language arts, in order to elicit emotional responses on paper.
