My vision of education in the year
2020
I agree with Yoke Chen’s idea
about the education in future: On-line education will make it easy to continue life long
education for everyone and to understand diverse cultural differences; School will exist
as a learning community. I strongly agree with the vision. However, as I mentioned on my
web page about the vision of education in 2020, we should not limit the educational
technology application into on-line education. Of course, the on-line education will
become a more powerful and effective format in future than we have experienced, but as
modern technology develops, many new kinds of technology have applied into educational
fields and influenced positively. We don’t know about what would be the future’s
cutting edge technology and how positively the technology would influence on education. I
hope "Bright eyes, active minds" could also mean open-mind toward other
possibility of new application of emerging technology.
