Now that you have completed the Greek Mythology webquest, you should have a good background for discussion and understanding of the readings for the course - Homer's Odyssey.  The guiding questions for each task were designed to challenge you to see the connections between Greek Gods, humans, and their heroes such as Ulysses.  Here is the prototype hero of Greek Mythology.  He experiences the gamut of challenges, from the Trojan War and its resolution to his journey home and battle to regain his home and family.
