Students will participate in each of the 4 tasks below.  The timeline for completion of each task is listed next to the task.  Students may work independently, or in small groups of no more than three.  Each student must write a response to the questions posed in each task.  Responses may be typed or handwritten.  A rubric is included for the grading of student responses.  After completing each task, students will have a good understanding of each topic, and will better appreciate the literature of Homer's Odyssey.  Here are the tasks:
 

Task #1: Greek Creation Myth / Gods and Goddesses  - due Friday Week 1

Task #2: The Iliad and the Trojan Horse - due Friday Week 2

Task #3: Greek Heroes - due Friday Week 3

Task #4: Ulysses and the Odyssey - due Friday Week 5
