It is essential to arrive to class on time and to bring the necessary supplies  Being prepared for class, however, means more than just having your pencil and book. It means thoughtful and complete preparation of homework or the literature you have been assigned.  In an effort to help you further, I have located the following sites on the web that will assist you with your class work.

Champaign Centennial Library
This a direct link to Centennial's own library.  Here you can check out the collection and access the online library catalog that contains information about books located at the CHS library and 58 others.  If you have your handout on Centennial Library Electronic Databases, you can access them from this site. It also includes MLA documentation sites. You can even place holds on materials!

Glossary of Poetic Terms
During your study of poetry and while you prepare poetry presentations, you will definitely want to visit this site.  This site includes a glossary to look up poetry  vocabulary. pronunciation, examples, and quotes.

Just because it is on the web, doesn't mean it is true.  Working with materials from the web requires the same critical evaluation used with traditional research materials to determine whether a source is valid, credible, and objective.
