The UIUC John Philip Sousa Collection and other music holdings are described in Donald Krummel’s Resources of American Music History (1981), Lee Ash’s Subject Collections (1993), and the Directory of Special Libraries and Information Centers (1995). Copies of materials in the collection are available for research purposes at a charge of $10.00 per hour (and shipping charges, when applicable) through use of the on-site photocopier.
