All About Mrs. Trieger My full name is Rebecca Anne Trieger. I am 44 years old. I was born in Puerto Rico but grew up in Maryland just outside of Washington, DC. I have an older sister named Betsy, an older brother named Elliot and a younger sister named Susie. My mom and dad still live in Maryland and all my siblings live close to them.
I moved to Springfield with my husband Mike and oldest child 17 years ago! I now have 4 children and I will have fun sharing stories about them with you. For now I'll tell you that Justin is 18 and a freshman at New York University. Gabe is 15 and goes to Springfield High School. Most of you already know Kailey and Jesse. Jesse has moved onto Franklin Middle School but Kailey is still here at Ball Charter. She will be in Mr. Delich's class this year.
When I am not at school, I like to do lots of different things. I love digging in the garden. Flowers make any place look better! I also like to scrapbook but don't ever find enough time for this hobby. I usually go to the gym to work out at least 3 times a week. I am hoping next year I will still find the time to keep up my exercise routine. And guess what? I read as much as I can!
I have several goals for this coming year. I am hoping that we can establish a successful classroom community. Each member of our class has something special to offer and we will have fun discovering each special quality and talent. I also expect that we will get to use the computer a lot to help us learn. I have spent the past few years learning how computers can make our inquiry and projects exciting. Another goal is that all of my students will stretch their brains and have fun while learning. I will need help from all of you for us to make this our best year yet! As I have said before, I can hardly wait until August 16!
