My name is Sara Barnett and I am a Teacher Instructional Leader for the Springfield Public School District. I coordinate all curriculum issues for elementary science, social studies, health, and physical education for our district. I grew up in Kansas City and received my bachelor's degree in Math/Science education from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas--Go Frogs!! While at TCU, I met my future husband, Kevin. Kevin is a general surgery resident at SIU School of Medicine which is how I landed in the land of Lincoln. I recently received my Master's degree at the University of Illinois in the area of Curriculum, Technology, and Educational Reform. Click here to see a great picture of my nephew!
