Survey Question: What is  your favorite kind of milk and what is your favorite game show?
 
 
 

Summary:  We have tabulated our results. The results were as follows:

 21 people said they liked 1% milk. 98 people said they liked 2% milk. 38 people liked skim milk. 13 people said they liked whole milk. 132   people said they liked chocolate milk. 0 people said they liked soy milk, and 26 people don't drink milk. 1 person said other as their milk choice. 36 surveys are currently marked as "invalid"--in other words, their votes don't count.

The game show survey results are as follows:

37 people liked the game show "Greed". 147 people liked the show "Who wants to be a Millionaire?".
47 people like the show "Who's line is it Anyway?". 39 people like the show "Jeopardy". 29 people like the show "Rock and Roll Jeopardy". 51 people like "Wheel of Fortune". 88 people like the game show "Price is Right". 7 people like "Inquizition". 26 people don't drink milk. 33 people chose other as their favorite show, and 51 of the surveys are marked "invalid".

Summary of our project:

We stared our project by writing a persuasive letter to our principal, and worked on our little speech we have to give to the classes at our school telling them who we are, where we came from, and our purpose of barging into someone's classroom and giving a survey. We spent two days writing our letter and our speech. Then we started tinkering around with ClarisWorks®, making graphs so we could display our results in the hall at our school. Two days after that we gave our survey to all the classrooms we were assigned to. The day after that (or the next work day) we began to tabulate our results for the game show survey and the milk survey. After all our results were tabulated, we transferred the data in to our computer. Soon after that, we began to make our poster. Then we started to make this web page you are in now (thanks for visiting!). We worked on getting all our results converted to percentages. It is too hard to explain how to di it right now, because we would bore you to death. Finally, we posted our poster in the hall for everyone to see how smart we are.
