Act Out a Plant
Call on certain children to come
to the front of the class. Have them act out how a plant might look and
feel in different situations. For example, a gentle breeze, a violent windstorm,
a gentle rain, a hard thunderstorm with thunder and lightening, in a snow
storm, a forest fire, when a person is planting it, when a person is harvesting
it, when it is missing water, etc.
