Plant or Animal Game Divide the children into two teams, plants and animals. The two teams stand facing each other, three to five meters apart. Mark a safety area for each team, about thirty meters behind the team. A leader calls out the name of a plant or animal. If the leader says an animal all plants chase animals until all animals are in their safety area. If a plant is called, the plants try to run to their safety area. Those children who are tagged become members of the opposite team.
