  2. Universities will continue to serve as an institution, which gives credentials to accomplishments. However, due to advanced technology universities will be organized in a way that can accommodate more wide range of population, providing opportunities for students who are unable to meet the scheduling requirements of real-tine classes. Also, students will not need to take their entire course from a single institution to get a certification. On-line courses will enable students to take any courses around the world, therefore, students will be taking courses which mostly fit their needs regardless regional factor. Universities will not be a single resource of credentialing. There will be other resources such as commercial software and programs created by companies and organizations specifically targeted at their potential employees.

  3. Individualized education

Students come with a variety of skills and predispositions. Technology will play a role in assessing students’ interests and abilities and matching students with appropriate curricula.
