About me
I was born and raised in Chicago Illinois. I attended City Colleges at dfferent times to earn an Associates of Business Degree, then attended Northeastern Ilinois University for my degree in Earth Science and my teaching certificate. I have held many interesting jobs. Before teaching in the classroom, A very interesting job was teaching jewelry making in the Fall, Winter, Spring, and sailing in the Summer. I have been a mineral and fossil collector for many years. My wife Karlene and I have had fossils named for the two of us, and our family. My current hobbies are gardening and tropical fish. We enjoy living in a small community after the fast pace of Chicago.Curently I am teaching Science at Argenta High School. It is located
North of Decatur. The district includes students from the north end
of Decatur, the towns of Argenta and Oreana, along with students from the
rural areas. A very diverse group. Teaching here has given
me the chance to add technology to the curiculum and change things as new
terchnology becomes available. It has been a very good experience.
