Welcome to the Map and Landform review and exercise! Illinois Learning Goal 12 Understanding the fundamental concepts, principals, and interconnections of the life, physical, and Earth/space sciences. I have broken the lesson into a few parts. You can start with mapping or with landforms, and move through the 2 exercises. I will provide a few resources for completing the assignments. Please feel free to use your favorite search sites or look for new information. Make sure to submit your answers at the end of activity 2. The goal of the project is to know the different landforms, where they are found, how they were formed, and how they would look on a topographic map. From there you should know about the different kinds of maps and what they are used for. Last, a closer look at mapping and map making with a GPS unit.
